Wallflowers – Bangkok

This place’s concept is quite novel. It’s a dessert shop/cafe by the day, and a bar at night. It’s inside a repurposed building – three storey-s all with a rooftop, and has all the quirky little things that you can find in an artsy junk shop. But they made use of the space very well, and I just find that impressive.

First, I like the space. As I mentioned elsewhere in this blog, I am fond of old spaces repurposed into something new. If I go around to see things, I look for things, not for food. Food has become secondary to my wandering. Hehe.

Second, coffee and cakes are good. They are not necessarily outstanding, but they surely are worth the money.

I admit, this is quite a “touristy” space. Many come here for the gram. But if you are exploring Chinatown, then this one is worth the stop. It is very near Mustang Blu which I also wrote about here. So you can have lunch at Mustang Blu and dessert here, which I actually did in one of my trips to Chinatown with friends.
