I was craving for grilled meat and seafood after a long trip at the river and we chanced upon a cafe some meters away from the famous Quảng Trường Bridge in Hoi-An. The smell of grilled meat was noticeable from the street as this cafe, Hai Cafe Hoi-An has a courtyard open-air barbecue and a restaurant that exudes rustic charm.






The indoor dining looks nice but we preferred to stay outside, taking advantage of the cool weather after a quick afternoon rain. My wife and kids ordered different things – seafood, salad, beef, pork meat – and the barbeque was cooked to perfection. Pictures below:






I went inside to see the interior design. It was okayish, but the place feels cramped, though one wall is open and faces the river.






Do I recommend? Yes. Get a reservation as the place is full at dinner time.
