I am always fascinated with modern art. Every city I have been to – from Jakarta to Tbilisi, Frankfurt to New York, a modern art museum is always on top of my to do list. Modern artists fascinate me because they explode with possibilities, unbounded by constraints and rules.
Artists featured in Bangkok’s Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) are no exception. It amazes me that despite that the fact that MOCA is easily accessible using public transport (using the blue and red MRT lines), it remains one of the less visited attractions of the city.
I do not attempt becoming an art critic here, I just want to have the art speak for themselves, and communicate boldly to you why MOCA is worth your while.

And here are three of my favourite sculptures from the museum’s collections.

If you happen to visit Bangkok, Thailand and would like to see more than just temples and rivers and floating markets, put MOCA as part of your list. You will not regret it.
