For the longest time, I was looking for an accessible “good enough” beach in Thailand that does not require a plane ride from Bangkok were I live. Then a colleague at work suggested Koh Larn, just right off the coast of Pattaya.
We rented our own speedboat and went there from our hotel and it felt really like home. Probably not as clean and as white, but still good enough to transport the child in me to Panglao.
