Yehliu Geo-Park in Taiwan fascinates me because of several reasons. First, I am a natural fan of anything about the sea; this one gives you the vastness of the ocean and limitless horizon. Second, I am enamoured by nature’s act of forming and transforming and how everything changes every day. Third, there’s a story of heroism and fatality housed within these shores, reminding me that while heroism does not always end up in victory, it does not make a sacrifice any less great. Whew. That’s deep.
