Penh House – my favourite Phnom Penh Hotel

Written by:

It is very rare that I feature a hotel in my post so you get to know why this hotel is quite special for me. First, this is one of those work trips where I had the opportunity to say where I would like to stay. Second, the hotel is very close to cool eateries, beautiful galleries, Wat Botum Park, and the royal palace in Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh. Third, something in its design captivates me, and it is not just about the room – it’s the entrance, the welcome drink, the spacious lobby, the rooftop pool and restaurant, and all the plants and wood pieces adorning everywhere.

It’s called the Penh House and I am not paid for recommending them here. You can probably see in the pictures below why I like this place. I have a very spacious room, a verandah and an ample sized bath and shower room. The breakfast at the rooftop restaurant is just delicious. The crew is very friendly but not intrusive. There is a coffeemaker inside the room, and the spa offers really relaxing treatments. Try it when you come. Hope the service is the same when you get there.
